Pipe Nesting and Reloading
We developed the entire steel pipe nesting operation and facilities. The operation and facilities include the tracking software as well as a four acre yard that houses our lifting equipment, including three forklifts with 36,000lb capacity. Our experienced engineers design the bundles to maximize the pipe volume to weight ratio in the containers, to ensure the most efficient shipping method. This has been a niche market for GMI allowing us to maintain our competitive rates with ocean shipping carries which can be passed on to our customers.

Bulk Cargo
Break Bulk Cargo is over sized, overweight and over dimensional cargo ship in individual pieces (drilling equipment, yachts, transformers, machinery, ore and other over dimensional cargo not fitting in ocean container). We work directly with the carriers and manage the complete shipment from delivering the cargo to port, loading on the vessel, and delivering safely to the port of destination.

Over-Dimensional
We have the capability to provide the specialized hardware required to handle the over dimensional cargo travel by road and sea. Additionally, we have the in house attendance capability to serve in accordance with the requirements and regulations of moving over dimensional cargo by roads and sea. Over sized cargo by nature needs around the clock attendance due to the state permits and city permits required for all inland routes until it reaches the port. This requires the cargo to travel at certain hours due to the need to assemble and disassemble power lines and telephone poles, as well as comply with permitted bridge hours.
