Full Container Load Shipping

FCL or Full Container Load is shipping whole container load (20', 40' 40' HC, or 45' length) from an origin to its final location. During a shipment there is the person who is transporting the goods or "shipper" and there is a person who is receiving the good or the "consignee". The process involves pre carriage of sea container from the depot container yard, loading at shipper location, returning back the container to the pier and further international shipping to nominated destination.

Less Than a Container Load Container Shipping

LCL is the most convenient and cheap way of international transportation for small and medium ocean shipments. For customers with less than a container load, LCL ocean transportation provides them all the benefits of full international shipping at fraction of the shipping cost and at the same time the same shipping frequency and service.

RO/RO Roll on Roll Off Cargo

RO-RO (Roll-on / Roll - off) is ocean international shipping terms for cargo on wheels - cars, trailers, trucks, tractors and other wheeled equipment not requiring crane loading and unloading operations.

Global Maritime offers Ro-Ro and containerized car shipping. We provide full service starting with proper documentation vehicle validation, loading, blocking, bracing and safely delivery to designated destination overseas.

Break Bulk Cargo

Break Bulk Cargo is over sized, overweight and over dimensional cargo ship in individual pieces (drilling equipment, yachts, transformers, machinery, ore and other over dimensional cargo not fitting in ocean container).

Global Maritime can provide our customers with a complete door to door shipment for all their personal property. We will containerize your cargo in either a FCL or LCL and provide our ocean freight services. We will guide our customer or shipper through the entire shipping process and keep them worry free that their irreplaceable personal items will make is safely from point of departure to the point of arrival.

Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

IMO Class – International Maritime Organization hazardous materials class.
Packing Group – specify the level of protective material required during ocean transportation.
UN Number United Nations Number. This is internationally recognized number assigned to a specific class or material of dangerous cargo.
Flash Point - temperature at which the material can be ignited or vaporize to form an ignitable mixture in air.

Export Tracking

Global Maritime will track all containers and cargo shipped from Port of Loading to their final destination using their export tracking software. We follow your cargo from the time of departure and ensure that a timely delivery occurs. We will be able to submit all document needed to release the cargo prior to its arrival to ensure there are no additional charges for detention or demurrage.
